FATBOY AND BRUT UPCYCLE FATBOY BEANBAG COVERS
INTO LIMITED-EDITION PATCHWORK BEANBAGS - AND JACKETS!
These exclusive beanbags and jackets drop on June 22.
HERE'S THE STORY
When Fatboy entered Brut’s store in Paris, it was love at first sight. Cool, timeless clothing, upcycled from indestructible fabrics that had already lived full lives – ranging from tablecloths to military attire and tents. Brut’s vision is a seamless fit with that of Fatboy: to make iconic products with a twist from sturdy recycled or upcycled material, that can then be enjoyed for life.
LIMITED EDITION UPCYCLED PATCHWORK BEANBAGS…
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Fatboy’s Original beanbag, Fatboy and Brut are launching a unique collaboration. Fatboy gave Brut unrestricted access to its warehouse. This resulted in the creation of upcycled patchwork beanbags, designed and made by Brut in their Parisian atelier: the Fatboy x Brut Original Slim.
Thanks to the smart design, material loss is kept to an absolute minimum. Every beanbag comes with a detachable utility pouch for all your summer needs, making the Fatboy x Brut Original Slim Fatboy’s first beanbag with pockets. The Fatboy x Brut Original Slim is sold exclusively on fatboy.com.
… AND ONE-OF-A KIND UPCYCLED JACKETS
Brut has also upcycled pre-used Fatboy beanbags into one-of-a-kind unisex patchwork jackets, ranging in size from S-XL. These jackets were inspired by a classic 80's French chore jacket from Brut's vintage archive. Given that Fatboy’s cotton is super strong and water and dirt-resistant, your jacket will be too.
And Fatboy's iconic red tag? You can also find them on these unique jackets. These jackets will be available exclusively in Brut's online shop, as well as in their Parisian boutique: 3 Rue Reaumur 75003 PARIS.
