WHAT IS GOING ON?
We informed you earlier that some batches of the Hotspot Blanket do not meet Fatboy’s quality requirements. It is possible that the heat element in the Hotspot Blanket of these batches may overheat locally and ignite. Fatboy is asking you not to use the heating element from the Hotspot Blanket with the batch numbers below.
WHICH BATCH NUMBER?
The Hotspot Blankets with the following batch number:
‘blank’ (no number) / 2002519 / 2002520 / 2002593
are being recalled by Fatboy as a precautionary measure. Instructions how to find the batch number are below.
WHAT DO WE ASK YOU TO DO?
Please send us the parts as soon as possible and register your payment details via the instructions link above. We will then start the process of your refund. This will take approximately 15 working days after receipt of the spare parts and your payment details.
WHERE TO FIND THE BATCH NUMBER?

Follow these steps:
A. COLLECT
MAKE SURE THE BLANKET IS NOT CHARGING!
To ensure that the Hotspot Blanket is only used as a regular blanket, we ask you to collect the following parts:
1. Red label
The red Fatboy label contains the on/off button. You can remove this label from the blanket by loosening the Velcro and unscrewing the cables.
2. Battery pack
After the loosening of the Velcro and taking out the red label, you can easily separate the black battery pack.
3. Charging cable
The separate black cable with magnetic charging point.
4. Adaptor
Access point for your power outlet.
B. SEND
Collected everything? Put the four parts in an envelope or box.
After you have put the parts in a box, you can register your return here:
